This subject examines information as a key resource both within and between business units or firms in the agribusiness system. The role and components of information as well as its technology are overviewed with emphasis on the management of information which can be harnessed to provide a competitive edge. It looks at system design operation and evaluation as well as problem-solving using personal computers.
