Subject Overview: |
In this subject, students will explore visual communication and be introduced to Auslan, the language of the Australian signing Deaf community. In doing this, students will delve into the linguistic and cultural aspects of Auslan and develop skills in communicating using this visual language. This subject has an enrolment quota of 175 students and therefore places are limited. Places will be allocated until the quota is reached. Anyone enrolling after the quota has been reached will be notified by the MGSE Student Centre at least one week prior to the start of teaching. |

Hurdle requirement: Practical presentation, due during the intensive week This subject has a minimum hurdle requirement of 80% attendance at all tutorials, seminars and workshops. |
