Time Commitment: | Contact Hours: This subject is an individual research project and weekly contact hours will vary depending on the nature of the project. Total Time Commitment: Students should discuss total time commitment with their supervisor but as a guide, a student would be expected to be engaged in their research for an average of thirty hours per week over two semesters. | ||||||||||||

Subject Overview: |
Students undertake a research project over the year, thereby gaining experience in posing research questions, searching the literature and in using basic research method for collecting and analysing data and presenting the results in a competently written research project and in a concise oral presentation. Regular meetings will be held with the supervisor during the year for gaining advice on the topic and on technical matters. Students enrol in a total of 75 points of research project across the duration of the Honours program. |
