Subject Overview:

Students will be grouped in ensembles where they will play a variety of jazz standards. Students will apply skills acquired in their Principal Study major to the context of a small ensemble.

Assessment:

Continuous - Preparation and commitment as demonstrated by performance tasks embracing all areas studied in each semester (50%)
Formal - One ensemble performance of approximately 10 minutes duration in each semester (50%).
