Note - to enrol in this subeject you must be currently enrolled in the Master of Clinical Research (coursework). Research areas relating to clinical research will be chosen after consultation between the student, the coordinator and their sponsoring organisation. Learning Outcomes: |
At the end of this subject, clinicians should be able to plan, design and undertake a clinical research project without supervision and be able to report their findings. |
Assessment: |
One presentation (20 per cent) and minor thesis totalling between 10,000 and 12,000 words (80 per cent). The examiner, external to the University of Melbourne and Melbourne University Private, selected by the Course Coordinator will assess the minor thesis. The appointed supervisor will also provide a report. The Course Coordinator will use both these reports to determine a final mark for the student. |
