The Graduate Diploma allows students who have completed an undergraduate degree to re-focus or expand their body of knowledge by completing the requirement of one of the undergraduate majors (or equivalent) in the Bachelor of Science not already completed. Students will be required to have completed level 1 prerequisites. This provides a pathway to the Master of Science Streams. |

Students who complete the graduate diploma should:
- Core participation requirements: Fieldwork The sites essential to this fieldwork are not wheelchair accessible and require students to traverse broken ground. Visual observation and interpretation of the sites is also an essential component, as is specimen and microscope work. |

Subject prerequisites: an undergraduate degree and ERTH10002 Understanding Planet Earth, or equivalents plus one other level 1 or above subject in Geology or Chemistry, or equivalent. - Level 2Students should select 50 points of level 2 options to meet the pre-requisites for their level 3 choices.
