Lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises deal with the craft of film and television production making. Students work in crews to gain first-hand experience of craft aspects of production. Students undertake specialist screen studies and screenwriting relevant to their strand of study. |

Assessment is continuous. Research and development (10%); Professional practice (10%); Specialist studies (5%); Film Festival Report (5%); Production Portfolio (10%); 1 st Semester production exercises (1-3 mins) (30%); 2 nd Semester production exercises (3-5 mins) (30%). (*Participation assessed on criteria of attendance, punctuality, ability to discuss, give/receive feedback and teamwork skills.) |
