Subject Overview:

Students will be supervised in the completion of a practice-based research project of relevance to the youth mental health field. The project may include secondary analysis of data or quantitative or qualitative data collection. In this, the second minor thesis subject, students will be supervised in the production of a 6,000 to 7,000 research report.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this subject students should be able to:
• Demonstrate development of research methodology skills
• Design, conduct and evaluate research in youth mental health
• Communicate their findings in a written research report

Assessment:

100% minor thesis (6,000 to 7,000 words) due week 12
