Subject Overview: |
The current attendance requirement allows students to theoretically 'miss'one out of the 4 conference days. Review of attendance records demonstrates that a large proportion of students do not attend the final day of the conference. As an intensive subject, which is only held at a specific time of the academic year and is not possible to repeat at other times of the year, it is not appropriate for this loop-hole inthe attendance requirement to 100% brings the conference in the line with the attendance requirements of all other MD subjects. Students who ahs a genuine reason for not attending the conference will be able to apply for a Short Leave of Absence. |
