Subject Overview: |
The subject is designed to extend participants' knowledge of educational leadership theory and practice through network based activities. This subject will be supported by a series of structured seminars that address key (a) systemic/community and (b) school leadership themes from an evidence-based research perspective. The Dean's lecture series, seminars by international fellows and activities sponsored by systemic agencies form the core of the subject. Participants will form consortia and will work with a University of Melbourne staff member or fellow to investigate an agreed 'school leadership challenge'. It may include linking with an international researcher, educational system personnel, or a corporate or community leader. The results of the project may be presented as part of the lecture and seminar series. |
