Time Commitment: | Contact Hours: On Campus Delivery - One 2-hour seminar per week and individual consultation time as required, plus up to 3 days per week in a facility approved by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music throughout the semester and over the semester break. A minimum of 20 days is required. Subject Overview: |
This subject extends the work undertaken in Minor Thesis (Music Therapy) 1. Students will implement the research project designed in Semester 1 and evaluate outcomes of the clinical work using either qualitative or quantitative paradigms. Tutorials will develop skills in the implementation of the project, data collection and evaluation, as well as development of appropriate writing and research skills. |

Assessment: |
A presentation of research results for peer feedback, due approximately mid-semester; and a 5,000 word presentation of the minor thesis in journal article format (including introduction, design, results and discussion), due at end of semester. |
