Course Overview: |
The Postgraduate Certificate in Information Systems is a one semester certificate which is suitable for students who want to update their knowledge of contemporary issues in information systems. The Postgraduate Certificate in Information Systems provides an advanced course of study for students who want to understand information systems from a technological perspective as well as the organisational contexts in which these systems are used to create value. In many cases, a person contemplating the Postgraduate Certificate may have a particular area of interest that they wish to update in their knowledge, in a more systematic and formal way than is possible with normal 'on the job' training and short courses. This course is also available as an exit point qualification for students who have completed four of the core subjects as indicated below as part of 150 point Master of Information Systems. |
