Course Overview: |
This course is unavailable to new students and teaching is being phased out. The MDSc by research aims to enhance the academic and research skills of dental graduates interested in developing an academic or research career. This course could leadon to a PhD. In this course you would define and manage an original, independent research project. This would equip you for more sustained and original work at the doctoral level or for applied research positions in a wide context. The clinical thesis is available in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery only. Students enrol in the single subject 511621 Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. |

Entry Requirements: |
You must hold an undergraduate degree in dentistry with very good academic results, and have completed at least two years full-time, continuous clinical work experience since graduation. Completion of professional development courses and a strong record in research publications would be highly regarded. The following selection criteria are also taken into account:
