Subject Overview:

In this subject the student is no longer required to compulsorily work in all the printmaking procedures offered. Greater emphasis is given to the concept of self-motivation and research for studio work. There is more emphasis given to the tutorial program (individual and group) and its relation to the practical and conceptual outcomes of students' work. Group and individual work tasks are set where necessary to develop skills in specific printmaking procedures, and to enable students to further develop their creative and conceptual relationship with printmaking. As part of the studio subject, students are required to participate in drawing classes and related drawing activities.
