Topics will include: Vision and goal-setting; communicating and collaborating; creating productive environments; effective planning; leadership, equity and respect; leading for liberation; change management, sources of institutional personal power; leadership and self reflection. the relationship of leadership to teaching will be a recurrent theme. |

A 15000 word action plan for dealing with a school issue requiring leadership (75%) A 500 word reflection on the process of producing the action plan (25%). Both pieces of assessment are due in the examination period. |
