This unit has pedagogy as its central consideration. The interrelationships between curriculum construction, pedagogy and assessment are a key focus. The key concepts :
as critical influences on curriculum constructions and assessment methods are examined in depth. The unit will investigate current thinking about each of these issues and examine the implications for pedagogical decision making, curriculum design and assessment approaches within educational settings. |

Students will develop a curriculum plan for a specific context that includes elements of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment incorporated in a cohesive and justified manner. The plan must include an underlying theoretical framework as well as implementation detail, including pedagogical and assessment related strategies. 5,000 words 100 per cent due at the end of semester |
