Subject Overview: |
This subject involves lectures, seminars and discussion sessions focused on research fields in veterinary biology and animal health and welfare and will include discussion of recently published research. The seminars will include those from experts in the field on recent advances in Veterinary Science or related animal health and management topics. Attendance at regular research seminars delivered within the Department will also be required. |

Assessment: |
Two essays from selected topics, worth 50% each, due at the end of the semester. Students will be provided with a list of topics based on the lectures delivered by Research Group Leaders covering aspects of current research in veterinary biology, animal health and/or welfare. The length of each essay will be 1,000-2,000 words. |
