For students in the 200 point program, JOUR90005 Journalism Futures (to be renamed Video and Audio Journalism) and JOUR90001 Researching and Writing Stories must be taken previously. |

Students in the 150 and 100 point program who do not have video and audio journalism experience are recommended to take JOUR90005 Video and Audio Journalism (previously Journalism Futures) before attempting this unit. |

This subject builds on basic video and audio journalism skills and takes them to an advanced level, with an emphasis on video and audio reporting under tight deadline conditions in newsroom environments, the production and repurposing of video and audio journalism for new and emerging delivery platforms and longer-form video and audio current affairs reporting. |
