Subject Overview: |
Screen Practice 2B further develops skills attained in Screen Practice 2A and other Level Two -Semester One work, including more in-depth pre-production work, more sustained shooting periods and further work on dialogue recording and editing. The subject offers students an opportunity to consolidate skills learned via the production of a short motion picture production that each student will write and produce from concept to completion. Students also crew for other students in areas such as camera, lighting, production management, continuity & assistant directing. |

Assessment: |
Hurdle requirement Students must attend 80% of all scheduled classes and attempt all elements of assessment to be eligible for a pass in this subject. Production Exercise 2B: 1 - Screen production (45%) Crewing on Exercises 2B: 1 - Approximately 80 hrs. on set work plus 500 words written report (25%) Production Blog for Ex 2B: 1 - Equivalent 1500 words (20%) Production Paperwork - *Equivalent of 1,500 words (10%) |
