Subject Overview: |
This subject aims to integrate the elements of the prior subject Bushfire Interface Science in the Victorian regulatory context, giving a detailed understanding of how performance based design can complement existing compliance legislation. The lectures, workshops, fieldwork and individual project work will be completed over one semester as a combination of formal instruction, group work and individual work. On completing individual projects, students present their work to the rest of the class and provide a written and basic spatial plan for the design of a residential development in a bushfire interface area. |
