Subject Overview:

This subject utilises a problem-based learning approach and will build on knowledge and skills developed in EDUC20023 (485-200) IT and Children's Learning. It will equip students to take on leadership roles with IT in primary schools. Topics covered will be selected from integrating computers into classroom activities; planning for IT use for schools and classrooms; management of IT resources (including budgeting); and IT strategic planning for schools.

Objectives: On completion of this subject students will have demonstrated that they can work in both teams and individually to analyse and evaluate ICT needs of classrooms and schools, to determine goals for the classroom or school, and create plans to achieve these goals.

Assessment:

Assignments totalling 4000 words.
