The specialisation in building is conceived for those students who aspire to become construction managers and work with medium to large general contracting companies. It has a strong technical component concerned with construction planning, contract administration and site operations. |

Subject Options: | Building specialisation subjectsCore specialisation subjectsStudents are required to successfully complete all of the following subjects (100 points) in order to obtain the Building specialisation in the Master of Construction Management. Subject Study Period Commencement: Credit Points: Elective specialisation subjectsStudents are required to successfully complete at least 50 points from the following subjects in order to obtain the Building specialisation in the Master of Construction Management. Subject Study Period Commencement: Credit Points: Multidisciplinary electivesStudents may take up to 50 points of multidisciplinary electives, including any University of Melbourne graduate subject provided prerequisites are met and written approval is obtained from the course coordinator.
