The Language Testing specialisation is part of the Master of Applied Linguistics.

Language Testing specialisation

Coursework only

  • three compulsory subjects (37.5 points)
  • one core subject (12.5 points) (must be taken in the first 100 points of the program)
  • twelve elective subjects (150 points) (up to three undergraduate elctive subjects can be taken, in the first 100 points of the program)

OR Coursework and Minor Thesis

  • three compulsory subjects (37.5 points)
  • one core subject (12.5 points) (must be taken in the first 100 points of the program)
  • ten elective subjects (125 points) (up to three undergraduate elctive subjects can be taken, in the first 100 points of the program)
  • Minor Thesis (25 points)

Students taking LING90010 Minor Thesis should do so in the final semester of their program and must have completed or be concurrently enrolled in LING90003 Research in Applied Linguistics.
