Objectives:

The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts, with a specialisation in Asian Studies:-

  • is an advanced level of study designed to allow students to specialise their knowledge across one area of study;
  • provides students with the scope to refine their analytical skills and research techniques;
  • provides the opportunity to specialise with strong foundation for the future progression to higher degree research in Arts at the Masters or PhD level;
    improves the scope of employment options and professional advancement.
Structure & Available Subjects:

The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts in this area of specialisation requires:


  • Thesis subject (50 points)
  • One compulsory subject (12.5 points)
  • Three elective subjects (37.5 points)
