Subject Overview: |
This course offers a research-oriented approach to current issues – both industrial and aesthetic – in Spanish-language Film Studies. The course provides students with a detailed knowledge of the major national cinemas of Spain and Latin America. Students will be expected to focus on at least one of these cinemas and to carry out an in-depth personal study of current issues relevant to that context. In addition, students can expect to further develop their Spanish academic writing skills. |

This subject has the following hurdle requirements: • Regular participation in tutorials is required with a minimum of 75% attendance. Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at 10% per day and in-class tasks missed without approval will not be marked. |
