This subject aims to provide students with a broad knowledge of a range of built elements and their application in the landscape, design, performance and method of construction. The areas of study covered in this subject include:
Site visits and case studies will be used to demonstrate the application of different elements and construction methods and the aesthetic contribution of the various elements will be discussed. |

Two 90 minute written examinations (worth 70% in total) and one project report of 3,000 words (worth 30%) due at the end of the semester |
