Assessment: |
Continuous aural, oral and written assessment 50% (2,000 words) and final written examination of 2,000 words 50% (2 hours). This subject has the following hurdle requirements:
Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at 10% per day and in-class tasks missed without approval will not be marked.

Generic Skills: |
This subject is designed to provide students with a systematic revision and consolidation of the essential structures of French grammar, syntax and vocabulary in meaningful situations. Listening and speaking skills will be developed through a range of small group activities. Cultural aspects of the language will be integrated through the use of written and audiovisual documents. |
