Subject Overview: |
This subject will introduce a range of different approaches to intervention and discuss a broad range of barriers and facilitators. The setting, client readiness, therapist-patient/family relationship will be considered. Goal setting and defining therapy outcomes will be discussed. In addition the evidence base for key ingredients such as dose and intensity will be introduced and the differences between efficacy and effectiveness and evidence vs practice will be debated. The subject will involve a mixture of lectures, self-directed and group learning. |
