Students in this subject will gain the skills needed to identify, access, evaluate, organise and communicate technical information. Topics will include written and verbal communications, style guides relevant to the discipline of horticulture, and generic skills in computer technology and general communication. |

This subject aims to ensure students are equipped with the necessary skills for university study, in written and verbal communication, as well as competence with appropriate communication technology. |
Assessment: | Referenced report (worth 25%), online writing task (worth 25%) and a group presentation (worth 50%). |
