Environmental Studies

Environmental Studies is available as a minor sequence in the Bachelor of Arts. The minor comprises 75 points of study (25 points of study at level one, 25 points at level two and 25 points at level three), with four compulsory subjects. All subjects are 12.5 points.

Level 1 compulsory subject:

  • Famine in the Modern World

and one of:

  • Anthropology: Studying Human Diversity
  • International Politics
  • or one Arts Foundation subject

Level 2/3 compulsory subjects:

  • Environmental Politics & Management
  • Society and Environments
  • Sustainable Development

and one elective subject:

  • Africa: Environment, Development, People
  • A History of Nature
