Students undertaking the Microbiology and Immunology program must complete:
To successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Science program in Microbiology and Immunology students must obtain passes of 50 per cent or better in both the Research Project and Coursework. In order to apply for higher degrees, students must obtain 75 per cent or better in both the Research Project and Advanced Coursework.

Subject Options: | CourseworkThis comprises students completing 2 of 3 course unit topics (each with 12.5 points each). The course units comprise lectures and seminars on selected topics within microbiology and immunology, discussion of research data and its interpretation, detailed study of original literature, and one or more oral presentations and literature surveys on selected topics. Research ProjectThis comprises an original, supervised research project and report and an oral presentation. |
