In this subject students focus on practical Spanish language and grammar, and are introduced to modern Spanish culture. Written texts, radio and TV material, films and literary texts will be used to sharpen and develop performance in speaking, listening, reading and writing, and to broaden the student's knowledge of Spanish culture. |

A 1-hour test 30% (at the end of semester), written work of 2,500 words 55% and oral/aural work 15%. Students must pass the end of semester written test in order to pass the subject. This subject has the following hurdle requirements:
