| Subject Overview: |
note: Melbourne Consulting and Custom Programs is not currently accepting new enrolments into this subject. This subject provides the mechanism for research into Public Private Partnerships in a corporate or industry context with particular reference to case study methods. Under the supervision of at least one academic staff member, the student will undertake original academic research on a significant and professionally relevant topic. S/he will write a thesis based on the results of that research. Students will be encouraged to write a thesis in a format that might be appropriate to, or readily adapted for, publication in an academic research journal. |

| Objectives: | Students who successfully complete this subject should have: • Gained an understanding of the procedures and methods involved in conducting organised research; • Developed an appreciation of research design and planning; • Enhanced their expertise and skills for the delivery of projects by Public Private Partnership mechanisms; • Developed an ability to evaluate and synthesise public private project related literature; and • Developed a capacity to undertake and report research finding. |
