Education Student CentreSubject Overview: | These subjects will further develop the associates’ understanding of and capabilities in the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment of their specific teaching areas. As in first year, the subjects will be taught largely online and through individual mentoring. The specific focus will be on refining practice through assessment of student learning, action research and critical reflection. Associates will undertake a small action research project into their current practice or a specific pedagogic problem, and use the results to inform their future planning for learning and teaching. |

Assessment: | A report of an Action Research project investigating an issue arising from teaching experience (linked to Individualising Learning and Teaching 2) (3000 words) due end of semester (100 per cent). |
