Subject Overview:

This unit provides the opportunity for students to complete a supervised investigative essay on a topic related to other sections of the Graduate Certificate. Ideally the topic selected would be directly relevant to the student's interests or field of endeavour. The topic is decided in consultation with the course coordinator early during the intensive teaching period, allowing the maximum time to make use of the library and expertise of the course lecturers, in the preparation of the bibliography.

Assessment: An annotated bibliography of 1500 words submitted during the intensive teaching period; written work of 3500 words submitted within three months of the end of the intensive teaching period.
