Candidates will pursue an independent, research-based study. The proposed topic must have the prior approval of the Head of School. Candidates are to submit a written report of 8,000-10,000 words for assessment. MUSI90119 is undertaken full-time over 2 semesters. Students wishing to complete their Research Project on a part-time basis over 4 semesters should enrol in MUSI90124 Research Paper (Part-Time) instead of MUSI90119. |

Assessment: |
The research paper submitted by the candidate will be examined and graded by two examiners pursuant to Statute 12.1. Candidates are required to present their research findings as a 20-minute paper to the Postgraduate Seminar during the second semester of enrolment. |
