This subject considers the nature of creativity in the classroom generally and its relation to music education. There will be an emphasis on the integrated music curriculum and students will have an opportunity to pursue areas of particular interest. |

On completion of this subject, students should have gained:

Assessment: |
Critical review of selected reading (20%); class presentation on Day 4 (30%); an independent assignment resulting in a unit of work that embodies the principles of creativity covered in seminars (50%), due five weeks after the conclusion of the subject. Provision will be made for the sharing of students work. |
