Subject Overview: |
The subject introduces basic conducting skills including baton technique, rehearsal methods, score reading (all clefs) and preparation, basic instrumental and vocal ensemble problems. Students will learn the fundamentals of the technical aspects of conducting through active participation, directing small ensembles in a class situation. |

Progressive assessment in 4 short practical tests (20% each) in class, starting in weeks 5, 7, 9 and 11, covering works studied (80%); attendance and active participation (20%) |
