Students will conceive, plan and execute a substantial research project, and present a paper at a conference organised by the School of Music mid-way through the 2 semesters of enrolment.

Assessment: |
Attendance at twelve seminars during the 2 semesters of enrolment (5%); a 12000 word dissertation due no later than 5.00 pm on the last day of the second semester of enrolment (95%); presentation of two work-in-progress reports. |
