In this subject students will consolidate the skills developed in Indonesian Level 4A. Students should be able to read Indonesian texts of different styles and registers, and to write a fairly nuanced essay in formal Indonesian, demonstrating sensitivity to the complexity of Indonesian social life and language. |

Assessment: |
Class participation 10% (ongoing), written work totalling 1500 words 40% (ongoing), 10 minute in-class oral presentation 10% (mid-semester) and 2-hour written final examination 40% (examination period). Class attendance is required for this subject; if you do not attend a minimum of 80% of classes without an approved exemption you will not be eligible for a pass in this subject. Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at 10% per day. In-class tasks missed without approval will not be marked. All pieces of written work must be submitted to pass this subject. |
