Subject Overview: | This subject is for students specialising in Directing. A series of practical workshops and seminar sessions concerned with different aspects of the role of the director, particularly in relation to the actor and to dramatic text. Areas of content include Approach To Text, Word and Action, the Poetics of Space, Rhythm in Theatre, Working with the Actor. There will be ongoing testing of these skills in Scene Laboratories |
