Course Overview: | The Postgraduate Diploma in Music Performance is a full fee-paying course intended to provide students who can demonstrate a high level of performance proficiency the opportunity to spend one year in a stimulating environment, focusing on the further enhancement of their chosen performance area(s). This course is available in the following specialist areas:
Students who play orchestral instruments are encouraged when required to take an important role in the orchestral program and if this is a special interest may choose this area as a component of the Ensemble subject. |

Objectives: | The objectives are to provide a forum for those already holding an undergraduate music performance degree to further develop specialist, individual skills in the areas of technique, repertoire and performance practice in the context of the current artistic, social and cultural climate . |

Entry Requirements: | Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Music (Performance) or equivalent degree and/or be capable of performing at a post-Bachelor of Music Performance level. The program caters for performers in both classical music and improvisatory genres. Prospective international students are obliged to demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency to complete the course. Entry is by audition and interview. |
