The graduate diploma is similar to an undergraduate major and offers a comprehensive program in Italian studies. The course is suitable for general interest or professional development purposes and does not involve a research project or thesis. Graduates are provided with a pathway to higher degree study and may qualify for entry, if they receive approval from the Head of Section, to the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts. Course coordinator: |

Course Structure & Available Subjects: |
Students may choose from three options available in the Graduate Diploma. Those who have completed previous study of the language will normally commence at a higher level, subject to approval by the course coordinator. Option OneFor candidates with no or very little previous knowledge of Italian.

Notes: | This course is designed to be taken over three years on a part-time basis. This will consist of subjects totaling 37.5 points for each of the first two years and 25 points in Third Year. Candidates with no knowledge of the language will commence at the beginners' level (option one). Those who have completed previous study of the language will normally commence at a higher level (option two or option three), subject to approval by the course coordinator. |
