In this subject students will be introduced to various research methodologies appropriate to research in the creative arts. These will include processes and techniques associated with selecting and refining a research problem. the means of identifying the current state of research in the field of study. data identification and collection. information analysis and synthesis. and selection of appropriate means of disseminating research findings. |

Assessment: | A research proposal of 2500 words 50% (due in week 6) and an essay of 2500 words 50% (due in week 10). |
