Subject Overview: An international comparison of the governance, structures, funding arrangements and stakeholder relationships of QA agencies, and how they manage their operations and train their staff to maintain independence and credibility in order to fulfil their roles effectively.
Objectives: To enable participants to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of different governance and funding arrangements, and organizational structures and processes of external QA agencies; and to identify the resources and operating policies required to fulfil the role.
Assessment: Participation in class discussions; written 4000 word assignment
