This subject is designed to consolidate and extend students" oral and listening skills while building on and extending the grammatical knowledge and vocabulary introduced in Chinese 2a. Students will be able to communicate in Chinese on a variety of topics in both spoken and written form. |

Assessment: | Oral and listening comprehension class work 20% (due weekly in class). a 10-minute oral examination 15% (during the examination period). a 30-minute listening test 15% (at the end of semester). homework and writing tests 10% (weekly in class). a 2-hour final examination 40% (during the examination period) |
