Subject Overview: |
This subject is a continuation of Chinese 4A. At the conclusion of this subject, students should be able to independently read a variety of original Chinese material and to write modern standard Chinese in an acceptable style. They should also be able to conduct discussions in Chinese on social and cultural issues. |

Assessment: | Class participation 10%, a mid-semester test 10%, an oral presentation 20% (at the end of semester), and a final 2-hour examination 60% (during examination period). |
