Subject Overview: |
This subject is the culmination of each student's studies in the Master of Architecture. It will consist of a number of autonomous studio groups offering a range of opportunities for students to demonstrate an original approach to architectural design synthesis based on research and critical thinking, linked to their area of specialisation. Students will be expected to demonstrate mastery of design resolution, conceptual engagement and aesthetic expression. Architecture Thesis may be used (with approval) as a framework for architectural research on the student's specialisation which does not produce a design outcome. On completion of this subject, students will be able to:
