Subject Overview: | The last year of the subject focuses more intensively on the singing voice as an extension of the actors skills. The content will cover a selection of the following: exercises for breathing, resonance, power and articulation; dramatic and conceptual analysis of songs leading to performance; the process of preparation/investigation of a wide variety of songs; the preparation of performances for the class, the school and, on Performance Day or for musical productions, for the general public. |
