Subject Overview: |
This subject consists of applied study of both the practice and conceptual basis governing instrumental pedagogy, from the earliest lessons to approximately AMEB Grade Four. The subject also examines the pedagogical interrelationship between student and teacher in the formative stages of instrumental tuition. |

Assessment: | An end-of-semester observed lesson at the appropriate level (50%); two performances of appropriate teaching material (30%); written assignments (20%). |
